Is online car insurance helpful? i need your suggestions..

I went online for a change last month and searched for car insurance. Feeling really smart at having saved so much money I went with the company that offered me the lowest rate. When I get my first insurance bill, I see they've added $150 to my original rate saying that there was some error in processing my rates earlier. Isn't this cheating?? I am switching right away, even if I don't get to drive my car for a few days. I now need names of reliable companies that you have home and car insurance with in Flagstaff, Arizona. Thanks for the help!

Online dosn't always run your MVR ahead of time because they have to pay for those reports. Once you secure a policy and put money down they have 60 days to review your driving record and claims history and can make adjustments. I suggest talking to an experienced agent who can suggest the right coverages for you and can verify the rate before you buy. Try Farmers Insurance or State Farm. Those are my two favorite companies because of their claims service. Which let's face it, is why we buy insurance in the first place.

I have never done online insurance so I dont know about it. However we have State Farm for both house and auto and are very happy with them.

We got a quote online through Costco. When we were ready to buy we called a local agent here from the Costco quote and he was wable to walk us through everything. We even found a few more "discounts" with him after talking over the phone. I liked starting online because I didn't feel like I wasted time talking to someone and it allowed me to play with some options, but talking and confirming verbally with someone in the end was nice.
