fugly orange hands

ok so, im preparation for my trip to LA i went over and got a spray tan. i HATE wearing short sleeves/sleeveless after not seeing the sun for 4 months. it looks great...except on my hands. they're super splotchy. any tried and true ways to get it to come off? my brain tells me something with exfoliating in it....

thanks!

oh, and yeah, i'm awesome and left my cell phone at home (i blame h, he rushed me out of the house this morning!) so i have his phone and he has mine. what a mess!

Re: fugly orange hands

  • My hairstylist gave me some awesome exfoliant to use when my spray tan was streaky right before the wedding. I would try that first. Maybe go to sephora even so that you don't have to buy a giant tub but can get individual packets.

  • I've always heard like lemon juice and just any kind of rough exfoliant...you could even use sea salt in a pinch I bet
  • thanks!

and p.s., how cool is it that i'm in an airplane and able to be online? my flights for work don't usually have wifi...this is pretty sweet! :)

  • Oh darn, you have to have the iphone. What a pity. HEHE.

I feel like the movie Wedding Planner says to use lemon juice and salt and scrub the crap out of it.

  • scrubbing it with toothpaste can help too!

The seasalt mixed with baking soda and perxoide owrked the best but I really just had to wait it out!! Sorry
