Just Thanksgiving plans-we always go to my MIL's house in Florida. We're both pretty ready for it, we haven't had a break in a long time and things have been crazy busy lately. It'll be nice.
3) Have you gone "green"? In what ways? I don't do as much as I could I guess , but I have started using the green canvas bags for groceries. I love them! They are just so much better.
4) Whatcha doing for the long weekend? It's just a regular weekend for me, though I don't really know what we'll be doing. I should try to be proactive about some assignments. And there's the FL vs. LSU game to watch
And I guess we'll watch the Jags lose in the NFL...lol.

6) What's your fav alcoholic beverage?? I really rarely drink alcohol. I don't have a favorite, though I do like the girly fruity drinks occasionally...things with rum that don't really taste like alcohol anymore

Funny story though-my MIL's boyfriend is big on nicknames and always calls people silly things, so he clearly was surprised we don't call each other anything specific. Then DH decided it would be amusing to make one up, so he claimed he calls me 'pumpkin' which I thought was just ridiculous...so then he would do it just to annoy me. lol.

1) What time did you wake up this morning? FI's alarm went off at 6am, so I woke up then, fell back to sleep, woke him up at 7am, and then went back to sleep until 9am. Ahhhh.
2) Any plans to travel OOT in the near future? Where are you going? Not till December. Going to Savannah for a long weekend, then immediately flying up to CT to spend Christmas with my family.

I try to recycle everything possible, we have a programmable thermostat, I've been shutting off the a/c and opening the windows a lot lately, I'm carpooling to school. I refuse to get any of those energy bulbs after we watched one blow and spew smoke at our friend's house.

In what ways?i'm trying to. i've switched my light bulbs to CFLs, i use canvas grocery bags, i no longer use chemical household cleaners, i just recently stopped buying plastic disposable water bottle and switched to reusable ones, i buy dried beans instead of canned, and in general i try to stay away from cans.

3) Have you gone "green"? In what ways? I just use common sense about it all. I don't waste plastic bags - if I get them, I use them for other purposes. We don't waste electricity in our house...and we use all eco-friendly light bulbs. We shop farmer's markets. And we drive a Smart Car.
