The Earth is shaking...

Did you ladies hear about this? There was a huge 8.9 magnitude Earthquake in Japan, and now there are tsunami warnings for Hawaii and the entire west coast!  I feel awful for the people in Japan!  There was footage on the news and looked terrifying.

Re: The Earth is shaking...

  • Apparently waves are rolling into Hawaii. One of my closest girlfriends from college is in Hawaii right now on a vacation to visit a friend over her Spring Break. I'm worried!

  • We have friends in HI on their honeymoon.  FIL called early this morning and left a VM a huge tsunami was going to hit HI.  DH and I prayed and were going to turn on the news and then FIL called back and said tsunami was going to hit but that he probably alarmed us too much.  Terrible news about Japan though.  T and Ps to everyone there.
  • We've had tsunami watches all weekend on the West Coast....thankfully these "tsunamis" that hit were only 1 foot higher than average waves here in WA....still scary tho! Especially since they can spark other kinds of seismic activity, and we don't live far from an active volcano :( We're saying lots of prayers for Japan, especially our friends stationed at Okinawa!
