Friday: rants and raves
Rant: I can't really rant today after reading about what happened in Japan this morning. So terrible. The worst thing that happened to me today was sleeping through my alarm. So we'll just leave it at that.
Rave: It's FRIDAY! H is already in MA and I'll be joining him later tonight. I have a baby shower to go to tomorrow, and I'm hanging with my IL's all weekend, which is awesome because I love them.
Also, less than a month until we move!

Yay, rants and raves!
I actually have NO rants today - this is all rave!
Today is my last day at my current job. I'll probably cut out after lunch - a goodbye lunch, hopefully with just my closest friends at work. My manager just sent me a kind goodbye email, and my immediate supervisor followed up with another kind note of her own.
Then I'm going to get a massage with a birthday gift certificate that DH gave me last month.
A few errands, a little cleaning around the house, and then heading to our hometown for baby weekend - two long time friends have had babies this month, and we're going to visit! (This is going to seriously inflame my baby fever situation, but whatever. Maybe DH will catch it too!)
And, we are going out dancing with MIL & her husband to celebrate her birthday. I was a little hesitant at first, because I'm not fond of the husband, but it'll be fun, and I love dancing but we never go. I am giddy because today is going to be a great day!
Yay for moving!
Rant: I agree with you on ranting after what happened in Japan. It puts everything in perspective.
Rave: It's finally Friday! It's been one heck of a week for me. I'm counting down the hours until I finally get a break from these Excel spreadsheets and Visio workflows. Looking forward to a nice, relaxing weekend!
Rant: agree about Japan. No rants today.
Rave: just that it's Friday and the weather is going to be nice so I can take the dog on a nice long walk! DH gets home form a work offsite this evening that he's been at. Yay!
Rant: I have four friends in Japan. I can't reach one. It's my birthday, and I feel kind of down. A lot of our roads will be closed today because of the tsunami (not really either good or bad, just thinking where I can go today).
Rave: I've reached three of my friends in Japan. They're all safe. DH is planning a nice dinner for just us for my birthday at a friend's restaurant. I hope it will be relaxed and nice.
