I feel so awful for the people of Japan affected by the quake and tsunami. I know I complain a lot about winter here and shoveling out from all the snowstorms, but I feel so grateful to not live in an area where major natural disasters occur.
Re: Japan
I know - I really hope our West Coasters are all safe too - now they're saying it's all headed for Hawaii and CA.
One of my really good friends from Charleston lives in Japan (he's actually from there). We're all waiting for him to check in. I hate this!
It's really so sad!
We have friends stationed there (he is in the Marines). I just heard from them through Facebook this morning - so relieved!
