Do you use loose green tea when you make a cup? I bought green tea yesterday for M for the heck of it and holy moly was it expensive! I just got him all the equipment to make fresh loose tea rather than a tea bag when I was in Paris but he didn't have loose tea to make a cup so I got him some at Teavana. I spent $90 on freakin' tea! It better be the best green tea on Earth and last a year!
Re: Arctic
Holy cow!!! Green tea can be expensive.. but since I had the girls I don't have time to fuss around with loose tea, so I stick to tea bags.
A good, cheaper brand is Republic of Tea.. maybe $12.99 for 50 tea bags. I buy them online or that health food store in Stuyvesant Plaza.
Not a fan of regular grocery store teas - even Celestial Seasonings I find too bitter - not a fan of Lipton or those. Sometimes the grocery store has a health food section with Yogi or Numi brand teas, and I like those too.
That is a lot of money! I remember getting a tiny bag at Teavana when they opened and it was a lot of $$$. DH swears by Adagio teas (online).
Let me know if you ever need a recommendation, we consider ourselves enthusiasts

There is a great company in Schenectady called Divinitea. they sell delicious loose tea. They are often at the Greenmarket on Sundays, but they recently opened a store-front on Union St. I get almost all of my tea from them.
Also, it sounds like we need to go back to Whistling Kettle?
