Seriously...this is out of control. It's been going on for well over a month now. I've dealt with back pain off and on through most of my adult life...but this is for the birds! i have to roll myself out of bed (which is really a pain in the ass since I have to make at least two trips a night to the restroom), if I sit too long I get stiff, I definitely have a waddle...partly becaues of the back pain...which is now causing my hips too hurt! Good lord these next three months are going to be hell!

Re: back pain
I had to do this, too. I also had to put a blanket under the side of my stomach. The heating pad was my bff during the day.
I had severe back and leg pain with Davis. It started around 28 weeks and never let up. I couldn't get out of bed anymore or up from a sitting position without a struggle. I had to stop working out. My OB did have me start PT for it, but after a few times I decided it was silly. I was going twice a week, paying $50 a week in copays. I'd have relief for a little while after PT and then it would come back. I decided that since I was due in 6 weeks I'd suck it up, LOL.
It is a b*tch being pregnant sometimes, but the end result is worth it. hang in there!
I ended up asking for one of those maternity pillows for Christmas because I had sciatica too. It wraps around me, and it has made sleeping much easier. My right leg would buckle out from under me randomly and walking was incredibly painful. It was not fun. My family doctor is a chiropractor too, so I went to see him for some relief. I would put frozen peas on my hip a least once a day too. It did go away after about a month, so hopefully yours will too.

I have been doing this a few weeks now. Not nearly as relieving as what I had wanted. And I always find a way to end up on my back by the time i wake up (with arms overhead). I know I should probably go out and by a body pillow or whatever.

This is the one I have. It takes up a lot of space, but there is still room for C, Buckeye, and me in our queen size bed. It is especially wonderful now that I have turned into a whale. lol
