As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. We have a new dining table
DH's grandma and her hubby moved into an assisted living facility right after Christmas and her kids have been going through the house dividing up all the stuff. Today it was the grandkids' turn to go through the house. So DH and I took the dining table that comes with 2 leaves and can seat up to 8, maybe more. It comes with 4 chairs so we will need more but it is a start. The table is entirely made of teak and is HEAVY! We also got some hand-painted wine glasses, some pictures, and grandma's Lenox china. Grandma's kids are so funny! DH's aunts kept telling me, this is Lenox china! It is soooo expensive, and such a good thing! I kept trying to tell them I know, I have 3 sets of Lenox at home. They seemed to think I didn't know what china was. It was really funny to watch.
Oh, and before everything started, E smashed her face really good. She was bleeding in her mouth, and got blood all over me. Thankfully it stopped fast. But she missed her entire nap because it took over 3 hours to figure out what people wanted, load it in the cars, and leave.

Poor E I hope she feels better after some rest.
That's how we felt when DH's grandma passed away! We ended up with an entire bedroom set (made by DH's grandpa), a hand knotted oriental rug and a selection of old books (including a 5th edition, hand watercolored Alice and Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass set), and some art, along with some sentimental items.
It took a LONG time to sort through everything. Grandma passed away in October and DH's parents and aunts and uncle are STILL going through everything to get the house ready to sell!
