I picked up a winter jacket at LLBean for Taylor for next winter for $18....let's hope it fits! lol....DH said, "what if it doesn't fit?"....I said, "then it's only $18!" lol  and I'm sure one of these nestie baby girls could use it if Taylor doesn't.

I also picked up a jacket for my neice for $23.  Yeah!

Awesome!  Save the receipt if it doesn't fit.  I'll bet LLBean would take it back, even if it's next year.  I love good deals!

Good deal! I did the same thing at the end of last winter and the coat ended up fitting him great this year. And yes, you could totally take it back if it doesn't end up fitting her. I love the LL Bean return policy. DH says I'm going to get blacklisted because I return so much stuff, but it's all for legitimate reasons!

I've already bought Ben's for next year from the Gap outlet usually $45 for $15.  I love not having to worry about it next year and paying full price.  I do this for all his clothes though and it usually works out fine.

We have tried to get good deals but because she is built so weird, like me, it's hard to know if it is going to fit her.  Nice to know they would take back last season's stuff though!

Nice deal! I'm still too afriad to buy things to far in advance, heck I'm still waiting on summer things b/c Caroline is so long, but petite on top. I have 2 18 month dresses I don't think she'll ever wear b/c it may be winter before she's in it

I already have 2 winter coats for my LO for next winter, and he's not even born yet.    I only bought one of them, one of my coworkers was shopping the sale at Children's Place and snagged the second one for me. 

Definitely safe to buy at Bean's, they'll take anything back.  DH has returned jeans there when the bottom hem gets frayed (you know, normal wear and tear on pants that are a bit too long) and they took them back, no questions asked.   He's got a file in our filing cabinet that's full of LL Bean receipts, just in case.
