So I totally congratulated you on your pregnancy in my last post and didnt' even notice you're a surro! That's awesome! Where are your IPs from? Were they people you knew previously or did you meet them after you decided to do it?
I'm going to be a TS -- starting insems tomorrow
Have you found others in the DM area? There's not a lot to like about the QC, but one thing i will say is that we have a lot of surros -- and an amazing group of them at that! There are several of us that try to get together once a month or so for coffee/catching up. It's really great.
Re: mrs reem!!!
Thanks! My transfer is on April 1st. lol!
My IP's are from Connecticut so I have to fly out there for the transfer. It's breaking my heart. I haven't found others in the area. Mid Iowa Fertility, my OB, and others act like it's fairly uncommon. I can't imagine why.
I WISH I had more people to talk about it with. Sometimes I feel like an island.
They are a friend of a friend so, while I didn't know them previously, I knew *of* them. My journey with infertility lead me to them.
Will you do IUI since it's your own eggs or do you still have to do IVF? Local IP's? How exciting for you, and rewarding!
