I've been trying to find vendor opportunities for my craft business so that I can do more than just Etsy.
We're in the Cumberland County area and it seems like there's nothing that happens locally other than the Dogwood Festival (application deadline has already come and gone) I've done a few shows here and there in the Raleigh area.
Do any of you know of anything coming up that is looking for crafting vendors? I handcraft foodie jewelry and accessories. Thanks in advance!
Oh and if that description doesn't quite give you a mental image to work with here's my etsy shop www.theclaycafe.etsy.com

Re: Looking for Craft Shows
i'm looking for similar things in the charlotte area.
do you get pretty decent sales at events like that? i've heard they can be hit or miss.
they really are super hit and miss. I did one outdoor show for my first show and it was a flop and closed up 2 hours early because of weather.
The other 2 I did were very well advertised and the people that came were my target market and I did good the first time and then the second time I did a show with the same people I did really well.
Display means the world! The first show I was so lost as far as catching people's attention and making the most out of my booth space. They're a lot of fun though!
