Need help from you ladies! ETA: restaraunts near the airport
Hi all! I'm a regular on TTGP on the bump, but I thought you ladies would be the best to answer my question. My husband and inlaws and I are taking a trip to Mexico in April. On our flight down we will have a 3hr layover in Atlanta, as well as one for 5 hours on our way home. Both will be over/around mealtimes (one lunch and one dinner). I'm wondering if anyone can suggest some fun, interesting places to eat that would be easy to get to taking the train. A fun quick activity for our longer evening layover might be fun too. Thanks in advance!

I suppose that's true. Thanks for the recommendation!

I agree with Sadlebred. For your three hour layover, you won't have time to leave the airport.
Even with the five hour layover you'll be cutting it crazy close. However, you can go to itsmarta.com to see the timetable for the train. You have to go to Peachtree Center to get to the nicer area of town. You could ride up to Peachtree and eat at a restaurant up there, but then you have to consider hauling all your luggage around. Maybe during your 3 hour layover you could scope out a fun restaurant and eat there on your long layover. Good luck! Sorry that it's not more promising!
