NYC in April
We are going to NYC April 7-10 and just wondering what the weather is typically like at that time of the year. Any things we should for sure try out? We are seeing a show on broadway and going to the Twins (YAY!) vs Yankees game...that's all we have planned so far!

the weather is REALLY variable in early april. it's usually around 50 degrees during the day, but can still get pretty chilly at night. your best bet will be to check weather.com the day before you are leaving to make any last minute adjustments to what you pack. in general, though, you will do a lot of walking, unless you take cabs everywhere, so bring comfortable shoes.
there are TONS of great restaurants in the city, so be sure to try out a few. some of my favorites are momofuku (fancy-ish asian noodles) and old homestead (oldest steakhouse in the city). both have websites. also, if you're a drinker, cocktails at the palace gate (old new york sort of place) are pretty fantastic for something special.
