Good breakfast/brunch place on this route
Where would you stop for breakfast if you were taking the L from Brooklyn to the 5 (Union Sq) to go down to Battery Park? Any good recs?

for a greasy spoon sort of place, there is chat 'n' chew right near union square. (15th street, i think.)
or there is the creperie on ludlow, if you are willing to take the 6 to canal street instead of the 5, and walk a little bit. trust me when i say the crepes are worth it. doughnut plant is also right nearby.
