Tell me about the good shops in Kittery...
Re: Shopping in Kittery
Places that I usually go to are:
I'm sure I am forgetting some, but that is where we usually go. That is if those are the type of shops you are looking for.
My sister wants to come up for a shopping trip (I normally go down there to RI but...with Abe and all...).
So mostly baby stuff I think (and kid stuff for Cate who is 5). I didn't know if Kittery had more than Freeport which is much much closer to home.
Both Freeport and Kittery have Gymboree Outlet, Children's Place, Gap Outlet, Carter's, and Osh Kosh. Like I said before, Kittery has Stride Rite and Hanna Andersson Outlet (cute clothes, but still pricey even at the outlet!). Freeport has the L.L.Bean outlet which has some kids' clothes. I think if I was a lot closer to Freeport, I wouldn't bother to go down to Kittery.
I personally have my preferences on different stores (even if they are the same) in kittery vs freeport, cause they don't carry all the same stuff. For example I greatly prefer the Kittery Banana Republic over the Freeport. I get flustered at the set up of the freeport store.
Other than that, they are mostly the same. Freeport has a bit more because of the outing stores (north face, llbean, etc). But, my ultimate favorite is the Crate and Barrel outlet and I was never so happy and terrified as when they opened that baby 5 minutes from my house. They have some GREAT deals on furniture, if you hit it right.
For baby stuff, I have no idea.
