I was going to ask about the nursery. Mary beat me to it.
What's the best baby gift you've received that has a value under $15? I have a work baby shower tomorrow. We have about 4 a year, so that's all I spend.
Are you scared to give birth or are you feeling pretty confident?
I'm weird but I'm excited. Like very excited. I know it's going to hurt A LOT.... but I get a cute baby at end of it all and it makes me really excited.
The thing I am most nervous about is if we have to do an emergency c-section. This Friday we're going in for a growth and position check... so if she's breech, we'll schedule a version sometime around 37 or 38 weeks. If that doesn't work, then c-section it is! Which I'm OK with... it just requires more mental preparation for me. Surgery makes me nervous.... the idea of not having any feeling in my lower extremities makes me REALLY nervous. It's just that if things are normal (like she's head down and going through labor) and they decide for whatever reason a c/s is best... that will be tough because I have been preparing for a vaginal birth... but it's for the best, you know?

Personally, I'm a fan of darker hair.... You should give it a go. Brunette might be fun for a little while. What would Craig think? Or would he notice??? Dan never notices when I go light (heavy blonde high-lights) to dark....

No I have not... It's going on my list of things to try now. Are they spicy? I like eating spicy foods, it makes Evie go crazy. I'm already a bad mom... I torture my kid.

What does Evie's nursery look like?
Evie technically doesn't have a nursery. She has a "nook".... it's random space in our bedroom that is big enough to fit her crib. We just put in her crib last night. We rearranged our living room and put her dresser in there. I'll take pictures of her nook when we get the sheets, bedding and pictures done.
How is everything with Dan's job?
For the most part good. He just had his review and, as usual, they still love him and rated him highest in his department. He's just waiting to hear what his raise will be.... he should know by the beginning of April and that also means he'll get retro pay (just in time for Evie). He also received some award, which came along with a bonus. So that was pretty sweet. Still waiting to hear from his friend on a possible position within their company. They just finished round one of their funding and were in the processing getting round two's..... So if they get what they expect, Dan could very well get an offer.

What is a candy you are dying to eat right now?
Strawberry Banana Rings. They're like Peach Rings but, you guessed it, Strawberry Banana flavored! My BF's friend owns a candy distribution and brought me some the last time I saw her..... And now I'm addicted. I'm hoping she brings some over this weekend when I see her!

Tonia and Nat, did you look at the BOB strollers at all? (I know, they're insanely expensive.) Just curious, because I'm wondering if you compared the City Minis to the BOBs. The City Minis are cheaper, so I'm thinking Craig and I should look into those instead. Also, do the Minis have car seat attachments?
And Nat, the SunChips aren't super spicy. Nice jalapeno flavor, but not hot. Jalapeno Kettle Chips have a nice kick though! Oh, and there are some Spicy Thai Kettle Chips too, those should get Evie hopping. I should have some myself, I haven't had them in a while. They're awesome.

I like to give "essentials": diapers, wipes, lotions, soaps, diaper rash cream, pacifiers, etc... small things that you know mom will need. Put it in a cute basket with pretty tissue paper and call it a day!
I haven't tried any of these things out... but through recommendations on our board and on the bump;

Exactly the bolded.... especially since I'm not planning on doing any jogging.
I plan to get the infant seat attachment. I hear mix reviews on it. I figure if I don't like it, I'll just return it and get a snap and go.
The one handed fold... I'm totally in love with it.
And Tara, I'm gonna have to make a Wawa run now and pick up small bags of potato chips. I'm not even a fan of potato chips LOL.

That's what I was thinking. I'm also thinking about getting the console attachment. Have you heard anything about that?? I hear mix reviews... but again, it's one of those things that if it doesn't work for me, I'll return it.

Oh maybe this is what I was thinking of and not the parent console. So belly bar it is.
And I love BBB more than I love BRU... such a different shopping experience than BRU. It's too bad the closest one to us is 30 mins with NO traffic... and there's usually traffic.
ETA: Changed BBB to BRU.
