container size?

I am going to do some container gardening this year with grape tomatoes, roma tomatoes, eggplant, zucchini, and poblano peppers. What size containers would you recommend? TIA!

Re: container size?

  • You'll want one deep enough for them to all get good roots, and not dry up all the time.  The ones with the "self watering" feature are great.  Make sure you get patio sized plants - the pepper and eggplant should be okay, but make sure you get smaller sized plants.  Your local garden center should be your best resource.  Good luck, its quite fun! We container gardened for a few years in our apartment, and it was wonderful!
