Spin off of lunch boxes

My little one is going to school next year. What all kinds of healthy lunches do you pack? I need ideas besides just the plain old sandwich. I think that will get old pretty quick. I did buy a thermos that will keep things hot for 7 hours so I thought I could send some Ravioli or something like that. Any other ideas? He's really not a picky eater.

We do, cheese its, grapes, yogurt, cheese sticks, pretzels, granola bars. We also freeze his yogurts or juice pouches and use it as the ice pack to save on room. It keeps his sandwiches cold and it thaws out nicely by lunch time.

Can you make me lunch? No kids here yet, but you could also do hummus with pita wedges and veggies for dipping.  The Laptop Lunch website has a lot of healthy recipe ideas.  I bought a Laptop Lunchbox for myself awhile back, but discovered it was too small.  It's an awesome idea though, so I saved it for my future child.

I've never been able to keep anything warm long enough to make it to lunch time. So we do all cold lunches.  Some  ideas: hard boiled egg whites, wheat pasta and red sauce, cheese tortilini plain, apple sauce, all types of cut up fruit, turkey rolled up with cheese slices.
