Know any kid friendly resorts/hotels..

On the beach in either Clearwater or St. Pete?  We are thinking of making a little weekend trip for 4th of July with some other friends of ours and I was looking for some good kid friendly places.  Thanks ladies!

Re: Know any kid friendly resorts/hotels..

  • I did a quick search out of my own curiousity and found the St.Pete Beachcomber - but I don't know about reviews on it, I've never stayed there, and it didn't look outstandingly kid friendly, not like some of the joints you find in your neck of the woods.

Although, (http://www.tradewindsresort.com/kids-activities.aspx ) looked promising, even though the kids' activities cost money.

  • Tradewinds is kid friendly.
  • For me, Grandma's is kid friendly.  ;)

    Amen!!!

  • Tradewinds is very kid friendly...they are actually opening a little water park in the water that I *think* is free to guests of the hotel but I'm not sure.  They also have an ice cream shop and a kiddie pool area and just a lot of other fun stuff.  I would say that is the best place for children.  Sirata also has a kids playground on the beach which is nice.
