Proud mama alert. Caroline just took her first few steps! I was trying to close her drawer so I removed her hands from it and then let go of her hands. She stood, perfectly balanced for a few moments. I was just in awe of her doing this, nice and flat footed etc. I took a step back and she walked to me. Nice and steady!
I had just commented to my mom this morning, that even though she has been cruising for quite some time, she's been real interested in walking around on her knees lately. Guess we may just be closer to walking by her first b-day afterall!

Oh, running, great!
She makes me feel older and older every day! I'm so pooped after chasing her. We thought she'd be walking by now, most of my nephews and niece were walking by 9-10 months, but I was thankful she was waiting. Just like I'm ok that she only has 2 teeth still!
She's been letting go all day now, and has tried to take steps again, but she has too much energy and can't relax for two seconds to stand still :P
