Say Anything part 27

I haven't started a SA thread in long time, so here ya go.  Can you believe we started doing this like 4 years ago?

I don't even know if there's been 27, just a random number that came to me.

Less than 500 posts to go.  You can do it.

Random:  The cake you made my friend awhile ago was soo good I am thinking about it right now and my mouth is watering.

  • Kris, I totally get you being pissed.  I'm frustrated with family - I have one aunt & uncle who don't have kids.  They totally completely spoil my cousins daughter.  They're off every Monday and 75% of the time she's with them along with her mom (who is a SAHM).  My cousin has a second baby on the way and I know they'll spend even more time with them.

I'm partially mad because I feel like the mom takes advantage - they buy the daughter all sorts of things, buy them lunch and dinner any time they are together.  But what really bugs me is that they only see C when I go home to visit my mom.  He's over a year and they've made a trip to Houston to see him TWICE.  Yet she's always complaining that they never see him, he's probably getting so big, yadda yadda.  I've made it very clear that they could pick him up from daycare or even keep him home on a Monday if they just ask.  I don't want them to buy him things, I don't want them to come in so I can get a free meal.  I just want him to get 1/2 of the time they give the other kid.  I am getting closer and closer to saying something and it won't end well.

  • MGR I feel your pain as well. Our children will not being going to my side of the family for any reason.

  • i had the most awful dream before i woke up, that DH had left me and i had done somethign horrible but i didn't know what.  in the end he agreed to go to counseling nut i was still so upset when i woke up!

nothing like a husband-leaving-you dream to make you snuggle extra hard and get up at 6:00 a.m. to make him a hot breakfast before he leaves for work like a good wife should...lol.

i even wrote him a special napkin message.

  • These allergies are kicking my butt. Night 3 of no sleeping for me due to crazy congestion. And these stupid benadryl tablets I've been told I can take are doing nothing.

I love this weather. But am seriously hating all the tree pollen that is coming along with it.

Ditto! I was coughing so hard from all of the drainage that I would make myself gag. It magically stopped the day I delivered Evan. I hope you feel better soon.

  • I am tired of dealing with lingering medical issues. It is nothing life threatening, so I am grateful. But when your hormones are outta whack for 7 months it is a bit much. Oh, and all of my tests come back "normal" but I still have all of the symptoms and a few cysts on my ovaries. I just want to feel normal again.

  • Funny how some things make me happy....

I just read in our community newsletter that we are getting curbside recycling!  I store all of my plastic, glass and cardboard and make a run to the nearest recycling center every month or two.  I'm so happy to not have to load it in the car again!
