We are going to Rudy's (which I know that Hannah will appreciate). It is a local "mexican" restaurant, it isn't really Mexican, it is totally Americanized tacos and enchiladas. The IL's are taking us our since Lance fixed their garage door opener last night.
Hannah...I had to read what you wrote again just to make sure I was reading it right. I am sure your husband is very happy with your vice...
I have no idea what I am making for dinner so I am not much help. Maybe some chicken with some kind of side dish?
Chris' two best friends went fishing at the lake this weekend (sadly, while Chris was painting!) and they caught a ton of fish.
So we unfortunately are going to a fish fry at a friend's house.
I'll probably stop and get a sandwich on the way, or something, since I don't eat seafood.

Today is crockpot tuesday! So I am making buffalo chicken lasagna and a side of brocoli....we'll see how it goes. It smells YUMMY!
You are so right! Mmmm, I can just taste the rice. Yum! I have yet to find rice I like more than theirs.

I've never liked seafood - the smell, texture, and taste really bother me. I think my dad is still disappointed about this.
I know, I am the pickiest person ever - who doesn't like seafood OR bacon???

Well, I do like bacon, but I hate seafood for all the same reasons as you. And I grew up in New England, so people look at me like like I have 2 heads when I say I hate it. My husband is the only other person I know who hates it, and thank god, because if I had to cook fish, I'd probably throw up.
(My "bacon" is peas - I get really mad when I see them added to a dish I want to order at a restaurant. People think I'm a freak for this, but really, I find them gross.)Since I typically visit Boston 3 or 4 times a year, I get the same look from people here when they ask if I had lobster or chowder or whatever while I was there. Like how could I go to Boston and not eat those things???
