Daycare Recs?
Hi Ladies,
I'm in the process of looking for a daycare and am wondering if anyone has any good recommendations?
We're in the Portland area, but I've been looking on the outskirts too.
I've gotten information from the child care connections, but was just wondering if anyone had any place they absolutely loved.

We are at Youth and Family Outreach and we LOVE it. It's right in downtown Portland. It's a center (our preference) and they have programs for babies, "waddlers", toddlers, "tykes", and pre-school, so if you choose your child can stay there until public school.
We also interviewed Circle Time, which was good but not for us. Our former neighbors and a coworker both sent/ send their kids there and liked it. We also looked into Back Cove School, which another neighbor used and loved, but they had no openings so we never went in to see more.
If you talk to Camelia or Michelle at YFO, tell them James' mom sent you! (Not because I get any sort of referral bonus, but just so they know you're "legit!" I seem to recall Camelia the director was just ok over the phone, but she's great face to face and seeing the place in person was the clincher for me.)
