we got an offer!
We are trying to sell our home in Minnesota and we got an offer last night. Unfortunately, it was about $4K too low. While that doesn't seem like a ton of money in the grand scheme of home prices, it would probably push us into a short sale, which would be no good. So, we had to counter and ask for more $$ so that I don't have to bring money to closing. I'm OK with taking the loss on our down payment, but I just can't stomach having to come up with extra cash at closing. Keep your fingers crossed that at the v. least this is a sign of good things to come!
