I guess I better keep knitting . . .

because I'm going to have another niece or nephew!! My brother who has the now 6 month old baby is going to have another! SIL is nursing so she is in the very small % of women who get pg while nursing.I just started reconnecting with this brother this week so it was great timing. My other brother is trying to have #2 (nephew is 5) and SIL went for her IVF a few weeks ago and we haven't heard yet if it was successful. So bro 1 doesn't want to tell bro 2 yet for SIL's sake if IVF wasn't successful. I'm glad for bro 1 that he had someone to tell in the family.

  • Aw, that's so exciting!

And that's way closer in age than my  SIL who found out she was pregnant again when the other one was 9 months old!

  • Well congrats!!! My nieces are only 18 months apart...but my sisters are only 11 months apart...my poor mom...glad I was on a four year delay after that! : )

I understand about not telling your other sibling. I have been on the losing end of that stick this last year with both of my sisters getting pregnant again on like the first month they tried, and it really got to me. I am sure the Bro & SIL will be happy no matter what, but it may take some time to be able to show it properly.

  • I might try something different, there was a papoose (sp?) which looked cute.It looks like a hooded blanket if you haven't heard of it. I'll have to look thru my stash of patterns.

SIL is the more sensitive one about other ppl getting pg but I think she's gotten better. Hopefully they'll have positive results from the IVF. I have to call bro and ask him how it went if there were any results.

Sorry about the double post . . .
