Anyone have this and if so, is yours really loud, too?

I cashed in cc reward points for one since our old HP All In One doesn't print wirelessly/bluetooth.  We were testing it out last night and it's really loud! Lots of loud clicking and stuff. Normal?

FWIW the HP that we had was kind of loud too, so i'm wondering if it's just the nature of the beast, kwim?  The reviews on the Canon are excellent everywhere but nobody really mentions how loud it is.

I have a Canon MP620 3-in-1....I guess there's some decently loud clicking and whirring that goes on at the beginning of a print cycle.  Are you just talking about the pre-print noise?  Or actually while it's printing/scanning?

I think that's it, some pre-print and post-print clicking and whatnot inside the machine.

I did just find out online that it has a Quiet Mode which I think i'm going to go home and check out. DH set it up yesterday and I only heard it print later on at night so I guess I want to look at it more.

I have a MP970 and I agree, it is a little loud pre-print and post-print, but it doesn't bother me too much because I usually walk away when I'm printing, so it tells me that a) the printer actually got the document and b) the printer is done printing lol.
