What's your favorite kind? Do you even like it?
I used to hate "cold" cheese; plain, sandwiches, etc, I refused to eat it. Last summer ('09) I randomly tried a cheese plate and now I love it.
My favs are gouda, gryere (sp?) and goat cheese. Yum!!
Re: S/O: Cheese
I love pretty much any kind of cheese!!!
Gruyere is definitely toward the top of the list. Havarti is my favorite for sandwiches (especially grilled cheese!). I love pepper jack, too. I really could just go on and on.
If you like goat cheese, try this...grill chicken, top with goat cheese, a tomato, and basil. It is delicious!
Good cheese is one of the things I've missed most while being pregnant - I'd love to have a salad with bleu cheese dressing, or a veggie sandwich with feta!

Gruyere is delicious! You've got to try it!
This whole conversation is making me want something cheesy for lunch! I hope my coworker chooses a place that has that option...

I do not discriminate any kind of cheese! I love goat cheese, feta cheese, cheddar, swiss, provolone, and anyother kind. My favorite is brick cheese or farmers cheese, which reminds me of my childhood and my great grandma. The only kind I don't love is bleu cheese, i have had it on steak but it's not my fave but I will eat it. I think that my favorite food that incorporates cheese is a gorgonzola encrusted NY strip. YUM-O!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE! cheese. Ken makes fun of me for it!
I don't know if I could pick a favorite (its like choosing a favorite child!). My favorites (plural) include sharp cheddar, gouda, goat cheese, muenster, and pepper jack.
My mom once told me if you add cheese to everything you eat you will get enough calcium, but if you take cheese off everything then you will most likely lose weight. I don't know how much truth is in that, but I am going for the calcium!!!

HA! No way! Cheese is amazing!
My #1 favorite cheese is good ol' sharp chedder!
I don't specificially HATE any cheese (that I've tried), but I'm not a fan of swiss cheese by itself. On a sandwhich is okay, but I won't eat it unless I have to.
CHEEEEEEEESE!!!
It's most soft cheeses - like bleu, gorgonzola, brie, etc. - that are unpasteurized. Same reason you shouldn't eat deli meat (unless it's hot) when you're pregnant - could have listeria.
I think the risk is pretty low, but it is still not recommended. I personally just avoid all things that could even potentially be dangerous. I mean, it's nine months...I can go that long without these things (including caffeine!) for the health of my child.

You must love Stilton cheese!

Ha! I just got back from lunch where I seriously considered ordering these as my meal. And, really, it would've been better than what I had, so I wish I would have!

I love having "wine and cheese" nights, the only problem is that I love cheese so much that I end up buying like 10 different varieties. A hundred dollars later, that's a pretty expensive snack!
My favorites are Havarti, Muenster, goat (especially garlic & chive goat) and Monterey Jack.
My least favorites are Swiss, Brie, Gruyere, and blue cheese, Pretty much any harsh/stinky cheese is out for me.
I love cheese!!! My favorites are Havarti, Provolone, Colby-jack, Pepper jack, Gouda and good ol' Cheddar
I'm not a fan of blu cheese...or goat cheese, or feta
I found a website that's all about cheese, has a list of all kinds of cheese, by milk, textures, and so on.
