Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I noticed in the baby shower post below that you said you need new nipples and pacifiers for a different baby. I'd never heard this before, is it for sanitary reasons? I ask because some friends gave us a few bottles of the brand we use and I didn't replace the nipples, just boiled everything...

My sister passed down her bottles to us, and we did the exact same thing you did. The bottles and nipples have now made it through two babies, and will probably be passed down to the next baby. My feeling is that as long as there isn't any major wear and tear they should be safe to use.
Amelia is going to be a big sister!
