I feel like a broken record, but seriously this is a hit to my ego times 20.  So today's interview was for the credit union and teller (with lots of room for growth!!!) and in reality would be a pretty good career move.  I think that I would really enjoy the work, the customers, learning about finance stuff, etc.  I CAN'T AFFORD TO TAKE THE JOB!  The hourly rate is so low, it will barely pay for day care.  WTF!  I was doing the math on the home and was so upset I had to pull over.  It's frustrating not being able to contribute to my family's budget.

 

Vent over....

On a positive note - I have a phone interview with Planet Dog tomorrow!

Personally, I think Planet Dog is the place for you.  And while I know NOTHING about the job or your previous work experience, I have a really good feeling about it.

The pay at the credit union job is discouraging - I would have been upset too!  I'm crossing my fingers and toes for Planet Dog today!  I know you will find the right job for you!

That completely blows about the credit union. But I'm being optimistic and saying that it's because you are meant to be at PD. It looks like a fun place to work!

::hugs:: sorry your ego was deflated. That sucks and I know how tough it is to just swallow. I don't know what planet dog is, but I love dogs and I think you are awesome and the perfect job is just waiting for you. Honestly, I don't think the universe would just allow your energy in just any job role. Right now, the universe is just saying that what is out there isn't as important as little non-ice-cream eating Abby But, once there is that role that lets you contribute to your family income but brings you away from home more, its going to be perfect. I just know it.

That's really frustrating that the pay was so low for the credit union! On the positive, it seems like the Planet Dog position might be a good fit, and I'm sending lots of good juju your way- keep us posted!
