TGIF!

Good morning!  Are there any regulars on this board (I've been lurking and posting a bit and haven't noticed any yet)?

How are you doing today?

What are your plans for the weekend?

Re: TGIF!

  • Good morning, and TGIF indeed! I'm not a regular here, but I'll play. :)

I'm not sure how I'm doing yet, still waiting for the coffee to kick in. I'm sure it will all turn out fine though. ;)

This weekend I get to fly home to Colorado to see my family. I'm so relieved and excited to go, it's ridiculous. Who knew you could still be homesick at this age, haha. I haven't seen my parents since last summer, so this will be nice.

How about you? You should answer your own questions. :)

  • Hi LL!

I'm fairly new to TN; I spent years on TK and moved on over here to talk about houses and decorating. I have one bestie on TN still waiting to get married, and she's walking the aisle in May, so I'm migrating here and lurking to see her photos there before I go for good. I can't figure out if there are regulars here at Gadgets, but I'll hang out and chat if you want. You curse a lot so I like you already.

I'm stressed today. I'm selling a house in my old hometown and I have to go up this weekend and have a massive moving sale. I'm selling everything but a sofa, four chairs and a desk. the sell has been back and forth, with more fuckkery than an average person should have to endure, but I think it's going to go through and close on the 28th. So next weekend I'll be moving my stuff to the house I've lived in since August. I'm not even sure what I'll do with myself the weekend after that. I see a massage and tons of celebratory drinks in my future!

     Now you go!

  • Have a great time at home with the family :)

    I guess I should.

I'm tired this morning.  DST has really screwed with my internal clock.  It's messing up my sleep like crazy.  For some reason I keep getting up half an hour before my alarm clock.  When you lose an hour you're not supposed to be getting up early :(

I don't have any major plans for the weekend.  I'm hoping to sleep in past 6.  That's about as far into the planning as I've gotten.  H got a call at 10:00 last night asking him to pick up shifts tonight and tomorrow night, so maybe I'll catch a movie he doesn't want to see or something.

  • Yay, Bec!  It sounds like you have some great, albeit stressful, stuff going on.

  • Bec, just say no to fuckkery and keep fighting the good fight! I can't imagine how much stress it is to sell a house in this market, or at all really, because I've never had a house.

TK is also where I started out, but I am trying to expand my horizons. I also have a May wedding friend whose wedding I'm excited about! What a cowinkydink. ;)

LL, DST is terrible and wholly unnecessary. I think it makes it harder for me to come to terms with, because there's NO GOOD REASON for it anymore. I'd like to boycott it, but that would only screw me over. Also, good luck with sleeping in past 6am! Holy early morning for a weekend.

I want to see a couple movies out now too, but I can't decide which one to see first. Anything good?

  • BEATLES!!!!!!! Hi. :)

I'm glad you get to go see family this weekend! FUN!

LL, sorry about your sleep pattern. I vote PJ Day tomorrow for you to catch up on lost sleep. :)

  • Hi Bec!!! I love seeing your pretty face on here in the morning. :) And thanks, I'm super excited because I'm pretty sure the weather is going to be gorgeous. My hometown has 300 days of sunshine a year, and at that altitude it's nice and dry. Ahhhh.

I vote for PJ day tomorrow too! I'd like to participate, but I think it's kind of gross when people wear their PJs on planes. ;)
