As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Mt. Vernon schools?
Anyone know anything good or bad about Mt. Vernon schools? We will be living in the Iowa City area or maybe West Branch area. I just noticed that Mt. Vernon has an opening. Do you think this would be too far away???

It depends on where you are in Iowa City. I think it's about 20 miles north of 80 so the commute wouldn't be unreasonable. You could live in Solon which is about halfway between Iowa City and Mr Vernon. We would think about living there if DH didn't have the commute to Muscatine. It's close to Lake Bride so you're closer to the outdoor recreation areas.
I don't know anything about the schools at all.
