Quiche!

I have never had quiche before, but DH has and has been begging me to make it.

I made it today for lunch, and wow I loved it!  I think I know what Im making for our Easter dinner this year :)

Here's the recipe I used (I eyeballed it, bc I hate using measuring cups).  I didnt have a shallot, so I used some dried minced onion instead.  I also added diced canadian bacon to it as well.

  • That looks and sounds good. I like ham in mine but I have had some that was just spinish (sp?) and cheese and was really good.

  • i LOVE quiche! I make a cheddar beer quiche that is delish! A lot of times it's just use up whatever I have in the fridge, potatoes, pepper, bacon...you name it.

  • I like spinach or asparagus, with swiss or white cheddar, and always mushrooms and bacon. Sometimes I put a layer of hash browns in the bottom.

    They freeze wonderfully, BTW...  I usually make 2 and freeze one.  Just make sure you keep foil over the top when reheating to prevent burning and drying out!
