Roc Girls- Tell me about private/independent adoption please!
Hi everyone! I'm usually on the adoption or Trouble TTC boards on The Bump, but I
wanted to jump over here and ask you all about private adoption. DH and I are looking into adoption, and the cost of the
traditional domestic infant adoptions in our area is not outrageous, but
not exactly that doable right now either. We have one income because DH
makes good money and I stay at home. This is the way we both like it,
although if I had to work in order to pay the fees for adoption, I would
(if I could find a job!). Anyway, I've been hearing a lot about private
adoptions sometimes being more affordable and sometimes taking less
time. Does anyone out there have any experience with this? Where do I
start? What was your experience? I'm in the Rochester area! THANKS in advance :-)
