Hi! How was your weekend? Do anything fun?
What do you have planned for this week? Anything exciting?
I spent the weekend relaxing, and it felt great! I had brunch with a friend on Saturday, then went to the gym (I maxed out a total of 41.39 miles on the stationary bike this past week!), then did some grocery shopping and spent the rest of Saturday hanging out with H. Sunday I spent at my parents' house, then H and I went for a walk around the pond with a friend and some ice cream. It was a good day.
We got the email from our landlord -- we can get the keys on Friday! Which means we're going to spend this upcoming weekend in our new apartment, painting and redecorating! I can't wait!
Re: Monday, Monday...
Sounds like a great weekend!!
Let's see, we had a refreshing one too.
Friday night: Dinner with friends and the priest that married us.
Saturday: Family birthday party for all the March birthdays. Had so much fun with my niece and nephews. We also celebrated my stepsis's recent engagement. Gorgeous ring with a pale green center stone!
Sunday: Mass, then lunch with the in-law's, then leisurely trip to Costco to get food for the week, then 2 mile run with brother in law to prepare for the 10k, then a glass of red wine and goofing around.
Why does it have to be Monday?
Saturday- walked in an Irish Setter parade with my MIL for St. Patrick's day, then window shopped for baby stuff with my best friend and then hung out at my parent's house most of the day... We had our gender scan ultrasound, but the baby was being modest and kept covering parts with little feetsies... On a positive note, there were 2 arms, 2 hands, 2 legs, and 2 feetsies
Sunday- church, baby meet and greet (late sprinkle), packed up our roommates stuff, then hung out at the house the rest of the night.
Monday- class
then hung out with my parents again (they're really cool and laid-back)
Due to the stormy weather, we only went out for our friends' Norouz party Saturday night. Otherwise we spent time planning our year. We are planning to: 1) move into a bigger place, which needs to happen between June and September; 2) take our honeymoon trip to Peru, which needs to happen between June and October; 3) my ILs think they're coming here in either November or December; and 4) I need to finish going through my mom's stuff, which realistically will take the rest of the year.
This week: Looking forward to a girls' night out on Thursday, Saturday is a member's night party at the Aquarium, and my friend's baby should arrive at any second!
