I need another day off to recover from the weekend
Pitt's loss on Saturday was absolutely heartbreaking. I'm not going to lie, I cried. Every year we have high hopes, and this was the year that they were supposed to finally make a run to the Final Four. Add in the fact that FF is in Houston, a mere 3 1/2 hours away, and we were going to go if Pitt made it. I consider that a once in a lifetime opportunity.
I really don't care who wins, I'm rooting for the underdogs and, because my DH is a fan, Duke. (I'm not really rooting for them so much as I'm not rooting against them, haha).
Re: I need another day off to recover from the weekend
Man...I can't handle the tournament this year. My bracket was scorched days ago, so now, I'm just watching for the upsets.
I will say, however, that I thought college ball was a little boring this year. This tournament made me change my mind real quick. I'm loving all this exciting basketball [and, my team isn't even in the Big Dance, so I just cheer for whoever!].
yeah, i had to talk my SIL off the ledge Sat. night, she's in Pittsburgh & got her doctorate last year from Pitt. Someone on her facebook posted "It's not march madness unless Pitt chokes!" LOL
i was so bummed that Michigan lost, they were soooo close. i think they had the advantage if they went to OT, Duke was tired......
On the women's side not too much yet, my team Tenn. is doing good, but Michigan State won a closer than they should have game.
