WW Accountability: Week 5

Whoo, boy. This week I learned how much damage you can do in a weekend.

I had a fantastic week. Stayed on point, on plan and had most of my weeklies left over, plus 10 activity points!

Cue Friday night: DH and I decided to go out to our weekly Indian food buffet dinner. Which would have been fine, had I not followed it with:

--Pioneer Woman's cinnamon toast on Saturday morning

--A ham, cheese and mayo sandwich on Saturday afternoon

--A waffle bowl from Dairy Queen Saturday night

--A fried-egg sandwich Sunday afternoon

I basically derailed my whole week in 36 hours. Brava.

(Actually, I could have enjoyed my sandwiches and Indian food and even EITHER the cinnamon toast OR the waffle bowl. Just not both.)

So I went 20 points over. Bummer!

I also have to just do the best I can this weekend, when I'm heading to LA for a few days with family. So this week I don't want to give up before the weekend comes. Believe me, my Chipotle lunch didn't go that far toward helping me with that goal! But starting tomorrow I'll have my delicious Middle Eastern veggie salad-stuffed pitas and fresh fruit for lunch, which will help keep the points down.

And I can chalk the weekend up to lessons learned.

Re: WW Accountability: Week 5

  • Exercise last week: Good

    Eating habits: Notsomuch

I've had the worst sweet tooth lately!

  • Quick answer: last week was BAD.

    Exercise: non existent.

    Stress: waaaaay too much

    Sleep: hardly any

Food: not good choices, overindulged, lots of stress eating

    Result: GAIN

  • :(  The good thing is that you counted! Some people just give up and don't count. But you gotta keep counting! :)  Back on track this week, right??? :)

I'm doing ok. Realizing there might be some 'other' problems going on that are causing my weight to stay on and/or increase. But I'm doing great with staying within point. Now I just need my Dr to figure out what else is going on with me.... :-
