Foodies, help please

I planned to try a new recipe tonight for gingery peanut noodles with chicken. The recipe calls for 3 tablespoons rice vinegar, which you blend with peanut butter, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and water to make the sauce. I don't have rice vinegar. I have red wine vinegar, apple cider vinegar, and just plain ole white vinegar. Could I use one of those instead or do I need to make a special trip to the store?

i'd run to the store, they are pretty different flavors. But if you really don't want to make the trip, then i'd sub red wine vinegar.

I would run out as well. They are VERY different flavors... but you could try the red wine...

they are very different flavors, but honestly, mixed with all those other strongly flavored ingredients, it'll still be good, just a little different. if it were me, I'd make do with what I had. But I'm pretty lazy.
