La Crosse nestie, moving to EAU CLAIRE!
We've lived in La Crosse for about five years now, and are moving to Eau Claire in two weeks because DH got a promotion! Any nesties from this area at all? Advice? Apartment ideas?

Welcome to Eau Claire! I live just outside of Eau Claire about 5 miles east in the country. I haven't been on this board in probably over a year, but with a snow day and not much to do I decided to check this out again... and it's so funny the first post I see has Eau Claire in it!
Good luck with your move, this is a nice area to live. My husband and I actually own a bunch of rental properties, but nothing is available unfortunately. Craigslist will probably be your best option.

I'd actually check out www.volumeone.org (local small newspaper/magazine) I just typed in "rentals" in the upper left search box, then when the results come up, look on the left hand side in a darker gray column, you can search results articles, local guides, & local listings (those are the ones I would look at)
