Re: BR: Names?
How hard was it for you to decide on a name?
Pretty easy. I had certain names in mind and it was basically getting a yes or no from H.
Did you know/do you know the name before they are born? Well pretty much. As most of you know I thought I was having a girl (Olivia) until a few days before the birth. Luckily I just used my boy name we agreed on in case we were expecting a boy lol.
How can you be sure it's the right name? I always liked the name Nate and it was basically between picking Nathaniel or Nathan. We chose the first because it was less common and I loved the meaning "Gift from God".
How hard was it for you to decide on a name? Very. Even starting prior to getting pregnant, we could only decide on a girls' name... we would have been screwed if we were having a boy.
Did you know/do you know the name before they are born? Yes, it was the only name we could agree upon, so we weren't going to be changing our minds.
How can you be sure it's the right name? It just is. That's one of the reasons we didn't tell anyone the name before Sami was born... we didn't want anyone second-guessing our decision or judging or giving their two cents or whatever. The way I felt, it's like once she was born and she officially was here and had her name, there was no going back.
