Do you use Twitter?

I've been thinking about setting up an account (not to tweet but just to follow people) but I can't decide. Chris uses it all the time (again, not to tweet just to follow) - he mainly follows sports reporters and things of that nature.

Do you use Twitter? If so, who do you follow?

That's the other thing....if I do set one up, I'm not sure who I would follow.

i dont. i dont really get why people love it so much. if i need the news (or a score to game if i watched sports), id just read the news papers online. I guess i can understand for games that you cant watch b/c youre in work or something, but other wise, it just seems like a waste of time and energy to me. id much rather be doing something fun.

I use twitter, but I don't get on too often.  I follow some education related groups like NYTimes education, as well as food network (although I'm thinking of un-following because they post too much).  I also follow a few comedians for a laugh and one or two friends that are on twitter.  I probably spend less than 5 minutes a day there though.

I do. I follow my college/pro sports teams esp b/c they post some interesting contests, the Disney Parks blog (yeah I'm a Disney freak!), some shows I like, etc. Mostly the contests are cool, and they don't get advertised as big elsewhere....DH has won some cool phone stuff & software from the tech/CS feeds he follows...

I do!

I get a lot sports updates that are good for my job, and for me to know what's happening.

I also Tweet about games I'm covering, some times entertainment, etc.

I also have an account for the softball agency I help run. As the media relations person I felt it was necessary. 

Side note: I also follow The Bachelor, American Idol, etc. :P
