Hi ladies, I'm planning a dept "offsite" meeting for work and we're deciding between staying at the Marriott Magnificent Mile and the Marriott Renaissance Chicago Downtown. Being out of state, I'm not sure which one to choose. What would you recommend? Which has the better location for sight-seeing? What's that diff between the two? The pictures online don't help that much. TIA!

FET#1 worked, but we lost the baby at 11w2d
FET#2 planned for Sept 2013
Re: Hotel help please
Is the Renaissance at 636 S Michigan?
Personally I'd stay the Mag. Mile location. Compared to the other, it's closer to shops/food, etc. Plus just a little bit busier of a location. The other location (Ren.) is a bit farther south, but it's out of the main drag of stores and food. But it would be a great view of the park/lake area.

I believe the Renaissance is at 1 W Wacker.
I'd go with the Mag Mile location- its located by a lot of shopping and restaurants. The one on 1 W Wacker is between the 2 major shopping districts. It still a nice location and close to a lot of things, so if the price is a lot lower then you may want to consider it.
