lube question

for those of you who have tried many kinds...is it a "you get what you pay for" kind of situation? 

I'm a little leery on spending $25 on lube that would work the same as $5 lube.

I have used a couple and I didn't like any of them really. It made me feel way to slippery, took away the pleasure for me. Maybe you can ask at a sex store? They have little small packets of them you can try?? I hope you find something you like! And pass the info on!!

The BEST lube in the whole wide world is 'Just like Me' by Pure Romance products. Its $16 for a decent bottle that lasts months and months. You need a small amount because it is naturally re-wetting. It is awesome and doesnt feel all slippery and gross. Google it.I have just about all my friends using it. Definitally worth the $ and KY is the worst lube IMO.

That stuff is truly amazing. I went to a "slumber party" and they gave us a tiny dab and had us rub it between our fingers for like 30 minutes and it was still going strong. It also depends on what type of lube your buying and what you want if for. For shower sex I recommend Astroglide which you can get for cheap at any Walgreen's.

For the most part, you do get what you pay for (within reason).  The $10 lube is probably just as good as the $25, but the $5 will leave you a sticky mess.  Typically, more expensive water based lubes are going to be much much better than the cheap ones. But any silicon based lube is going to be a good bet.  They don't get sticky ever and feel silky smooth (you can actually use them as a moisturizer too!)

coconut oil is the best lube we have ever used. We just buy a big mason jar full (typically around 7 bucks) and put it in a separate little container (for hygienic reasons, I use coconut oil for a ton of things!). We love it because most other lubes on the market cause me to have terrible burning, this was the first one we tried that was flawless. It's a soft solid at room temperature, but melts on physical contact (not to mention it's edible) so there's a lot of fun that can be had! There's no stickiness, it could even be left on both people b/c CO is great for health purposes (for girls it can prevent YIs b/c it's antibacterial/anti-fungal). 

We will never use anything else!

Me and my fianc?e use lube all the time (almost every time). I have tried many different kinds and the best one is Astroglide, it comes in a liquid (which sometimes gets spilled in bed) and it also comes in a gel which is amazing as well and doesn't quite spill as much. I think for the bigger bottle of it I spend about 10-12 bucks. We have been using this lube for years now and I love it.

Coconut oil. It's a natural antifungal, super cheap for a big tub and can be found at any vitamin, health store, rite-aid, etc. Plus, there's no burning and it lasts the whole time. We never have to reapply!

Shortening works great. Its better than any KY or other lube I have used. 

Although, I wonder if it will make my vagina get fat?
