embarrassing stain... tmi

DH and I got a brand new bed spread from my parents for the wedding (5 months ago) and there's a ... stain on the comforter Embarrassed I haven't gotten around to trying to get it out and it's been maybe a month or two? Tried just water initially and it didn't work.

Any suggestions? I love the bed spread and am disturbed every time I make the bed and see it.

  • Just follow the cleaning instructions on the tag and it'll come right out. We deal with this a lot and I just wash the comforter, or take it to the cleaners and they come out clean. Same with sheets Good Luck :)

  • Usually dry clean only things can be washed.  If it won't fit in the washer, take it to the cleaners.  GL.
  • If it's blood, hydrogen peroxide works well.  If it's other bodily fluids.. ummm.. oxy clean?
