So I'm getting my resume and cover letter together tonight for a job opening at our Zoo in town for an zoological educator position that just opened up there. I'm really excited/nervous b/c this job seems PERFECT for me. I really like working at the vet clinic but working at a vet clinic made me realize how it really isn't where I want to be in my career and that I wanted to get more towards conservation work with animals which is why I took that volunteer position at Tiger Creek I told you about last week.
This job would be getting to handle exotic animals and educating the public about them, which is part of what I would be doing with Tiger Creek..just not handling the Tiger s haha. I dunno...I just REALLY want this job!!
So please send lots of nestie vibes for me to crank out an AWESOME cover letter tonight and hope that I hear back soon from it!

My best friend has a job similar to that! Her title has changed so many times, I don't know what it is now- but the zoo she works at now has a hospital- and she is in charge of educating the public/talking about the procedures/in charge of the volunteers/etc.
Good luck- she definitely has a fun job (prob. because it's a job she loves!)
