Does my printer need a new driver...
Or something?
It will not scan documents, photos or artwork with light colors in it. Nor will it scan anything neon or dayglo colored.
The colors come out murky, too light or not at all -- and anything I print with those colors is faded and light. No "oomph."
The printer is a fairly new one -- it's less than 4 months old.
Re: Does my printer need a new driver...
Doesn't sound like a driver issue.
But what do you mean "will not scan...light colors" - is it scanning and the resulting image quality just isn't good?
Does the faded, printed image you describe exactly match the colors of the scanned image?
This sounds more like a problem with the scanner itself, or the settings in the program you are using.
Did the scanner EVER work well or has it been like this the whole time you've had it?
Just started about a week and a half ago.
It is fine with darker images.
