I need ideas for a party for a 5 year old that is obsessed with tornados. Any thoughts? I tried searching online and didn't find much. (although I am not surprised) TIA
my read shelf:
Re: Tornado themed party
you could play twister, make tornadoes in a soda bottle, the cake is key, and name your foods weather/tornado terms, incorporate the richter scale
Wizard of Oz?
isn't there some mexican food that kind of sounds like tornados...
I would serve bugles!!!
What a cool idea for a party.
Here is a link I found from Ehow:

I love the bugles ideas. I am not sure about the mexican food. I would have to look into that one.
Thanks for all the ideas. It is certainly a party that you have to think outside the box for.
This is a very interesting theme! I like how your kid thinks!
I don't know why but I can just picture the b-day boy dressed like he just went through a tornado. I don't know how you pull it off with the clothes but you can do his hair a little spiky but pointing to one side. LOL
The other ideas you got were good. The Mexican Tornedo things are some frozen foods that are a little of a cross between a burrito and a flauta. I've seen them at Sam's and Costco. The buggles are a definite must!
Have fun!
