I have no creativity left!
Hi ladies!
My show is opening in two weeks and I have no creativity left! I'm trying to think of cast gifts and I'm totally at a loss. The show is Alice in Wonderland and it would be easy enough to do a gift with a tea theme of some sort (second hand store tea cups, etc...) but there are four boys in the show (one in high school, three in middle school) and I don't know what to do because of them.
Any ideas!? I'd like to try to stay in the $5-$8 range if that helps anyone.
Thanks!
Re: I have no creativity left!
I think the tea set for the girls is a great idea! I'm trying to think of something for the boys so you can stay with those!
How old are the kids again? Maybe those tall striped fabric hats? Or are they too goofy? Maybe you could stick a piece of paper with the name of the show and the date on it Mad Hatter-style...
ETA: nm, you said how old they are! While still goofy, I think that age would probably appreciate them most
I was already going to do this sans the frame... but with the frame is a good idea... I'll keep it in mind.
Tshirts were a possibility too but I think they'll be more expensive that I can handle (unless we sell out all the shows which is unlikely).

I was initially thinking no because many of them already have hats for the show but I looked at your link and there are a few that could fit in my definite price range that are different than what will be in the show. Great idea... I'll definitely keep that as an option! Thanks!

Do you know anyone that works at a screenprinting shop or does screenprinting that has a contract with a supplier for plain shirts? I wish you didn't live so far! My friend has a contact with American Apparel and gets the plain shirts SOO cheap...you just have to order in bulk.
How many kids are in the cast? If you could get cheap plain shirts you could make them yourself with the iron on transfer paper...but if the cast is huge that could take forever!

No, unfortunately, I don't. :op
There are 36 kids in the cast so not too bad for a DIY job but I have never seen a DIY iron on job that I've been impressed with so I've never tried it myself! With shirts, I think I might feel better paying the extra $$ to have nice ones.

Where do you see it's a couple bucks per shirt? I must not be looking in the right place!
