Party Favor Idea Help

Hosting a picnic party for my parents 60th birthdays and 40th anniversary.  It's going to be at the park in a pavilion and BBQ type foods.  Anyone have any party favor ideas?

Re: Party Favor Idea Help

  • Most people on this board will tell you edible. Edible are nice, especially if you've got a wide range of ages and tastes coming to the event.

You could do mini bottles of champagne and/or sparkling cider tied with white and silver bows (since 60th is "diamond"). You could also do fun-shaped cut-out sugar cookies, either playing on the BBQ theme or again the "diamond" anniversary.

    that sounds great :)

  • for my parents anniversary (which was in july)...we tied a few sparklers together with ribbon. the theme of the party was "Keeping the Spark Alive". and when we gave a toast for their anny...we made sure to have that line in there, on the invites, etc. it turned out great.

  • I think a simple heart shaped cookie, iced in white icing with their initials, would be adorable and still keep with the anniversary thing.

  • Personalized cookies are cool. Maybe you can also go on some of the wedding websites to see if they have any cute things. I think forever ago I saw something that was hot dog/bun related. And the two peas in a pod favors are always so cute.
