As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Headers and Footers , Oh My
I am manually adding a header to my essay papers but the problem is that when I submit the paper to the instructor the Page number and title are moving all over the paper. I googled the problem but that didn't work.
Does anyone know how I can do this properly in plain speech?
BTW..I have gone to microsoft support but they want me to buy software before they will give me an answer. wth????

What version of Word are you using? And if you know... what version is your instructor using?
when you say manually inserting, do you mean adding a header on each page, without going into insert>header?
if so, every computer breaks the page at different sections. That's an issue I've seen most from PC to Mac and vice versa. You save it as a PDF, or go to insert header instead.
not sure if what I said makes sense at all..
I'm using 2007 word. the instructor's, i have no idea.
